We are the official Southern California Chapter of the National Woodie
Club. Since we started, the club has grown to over 300 members.
Membership is open to anyone, woodie owner or not. Our goal is to
promote the wooden car, and the role it has played throughout automotive
history, especially in the California surf culture. This year's
president - Gary Clark and vice president- Bill Medina, hope you
enjoy the site.
Upcoming Events: The NHRA is holding their Winter Nationals on Sunday,
February 14th. This is their 50th anniversary, and they would like 50
Woodies to parade down the drag strip to start the event! We will hold a
club meeting on Sunday, February 28th at Outback in Laguna Hills. The Dana
Point Whale Festival will be held on March 6th and 7th. Huntington Beach
Beachcruisers is on March 27th and March 28th.
And don't forget to start planning for Doheny Wood 2010. Our Friday night
party will be held on April 23, 2010, and Doheny Wood is scheduled for April
24, 2010.
