May 19th Drive Your Woodie Day; L.A. Wood is May 19th in San Pedro                                                                                                     

We are the official Southern California Chapter of the National Woodie Club. Since we started, the club has grown to over 300 members. Membership is open to anyone, woodie owner or not. Our goal is to promote the wooden car, and the role it has played throughout automotive history, especially in the California surf culture. This year's president - Mike Keenan and vice president- Roger Roundy, hope you enjoy the site.


Woodie season is finally here.  To get a look at Doheny Wood 2012, we have pictures posted on line CLICK HERE. On October 23rd, SCWC  hosted a new event called October Wood. The city of Dana Point  cosponsored this event. We had a huge turn out of woodies! The event drew over 100 woodie cars, and everyone went away having enjoyed a terrific day. Upcoming Events:  May 19th is Drive Your Woodie DAY. Get your cars out and have some fun. May 19th is also LA Wood. It will be held at the Ports of Call Village in San Pedro.  It's time to get your woodies out on the road and enjoy the nice weather we are having!
